Each Levemir pen contains:
Total Content: 300 IU of Insulin Detemir per pen.
Volume: 3 ml of solution.
Concentration: 100 IU/ml.
Indications:
Levemir is used to control blood sugar levels in individuals with diabetes mellitus (type 1 and type 2). It provides a long-lasting insulin effect, suitable for both daily and flexible dosing.
Administration:
Administered via subcutaneous injection using the pre-filled pen, typically once or twice daily at a time that fits the patient’s routine. Dosing is individualized based on blood glucose levels and specific patient needs, as directed by a healthcare provider.
Effects:
